Happy Chinese New Year

We celebrated Chinese New Year with Chris' family. This was Joshua's 3rd and Cadence's 1st. We had a big feast of delicious Chinese food, and a few rounds of Apples to Apples. It was determined that Frank Sinatra was more fabulous than James Bond, and Parenting was both perfect and frazzled.

The highlight of the night for the kids is always red envelope time!

Joshua didn't really know what was going on. He just knew
that if he stuck his hand out, someone will give him something.

This red envelope was the only one he tried to open.
It had Mickey Mouse on the cover, so it automatically
is his favorite.

Cadence was tired out from lack of sleep, so during
red envelope time she started to fall asleep.

This one says, "Mom, I'm trying to sleep, leave me alone."
